22.4.3 Can I get tickets to the various award shows? F.O.X.E. (Fansof X-Rated Entertainment)
The 6th F.O.X.E. Awards Show will be held Sunday,
Feb. 18, 1996 and the Los Angeles area location and
time information will be sent out with ticket
orders. Any questions should be directed to the
F.O.X.E. hotline at (213) 656-6545.
Peter van Aarle tells me that the show is
officially called the F.O.X.E. Fan Favorite
Awards... FOXE members can enter ballots to choose
their "favorite male", "favorite female" and
"favorite vixen" (=new female performer).
Voting deadline is February 10, 1996. And Nina
Hartley, Ashlyn Gere, Peter North and Rocco
Siffredi have all won the award three times making
them ineligible for receiving votes again (this was
decided after Nina won the first three years in a
row. I guess Bill Margold wanted to give other
girls a chance ;-)
I've got a bit more info on this: tickets are $40
(or $100 for 3) but the deadline for mail orders
for this year's event is (was when this version
gets out ;-) February 10, 1996
