As far as the GVG show goes, Tim Evanson passes
this along:
Tickets for the GVG Awards are advertised every
year in the local LA newspapers and at LA porn
stores, bookstores, and other locales. They are
not offered nation-wide. The event's location
varies from year to year, but is usually in a
downtown LA hotel. Tickets are usually $100. The
event is black tie and occurs in late December or
early January.
The event is now in its fourth year, with donations
being made to the "Aid for AIDS" charity. In 1995,
$60,000 was donated to "Aid for AIDS."
