30.6 How about American satellite channels?

To the best of my knowledge, there are currently 10 adult
programming channels now available to the home dish owner. Of
those, no less than six are hard-core XXX channels. And, in fact,
one even has a website - Exxxtasy. which also happens to be one to
which I personally subscribe along with XXXtreme. The current hard-
core channels are:
ClimaXXX TV located at E2/17 - 24 hours per day programming.
XXXplore located at T3/6 - 24 hours per day programming.
XXXpose located at T3/8 - 24 hours per day programming.
Exxxtasy Premier located at T1/24 - 24 hour programming.
Exxxtasy II located at T1/15 - 24 hours per day programming.
XXXtreme TV located at E2/23 - 24 hours per day programming
In addition to the above hardcore channels, there are the following
soft-core channels - Adam & Eve, AdulTVision, Playboy and Spice
channels located on various satellites.
Most of the hard-core channels run about five or six movies per day
with block repeats during the day which makes it really nice to
timer tape on your VCR or select a convenient time to watch. The
cost per year is in the $80.00 to $150.00 range per service. This
is extremely reasonable considering the average service runs over
125 movie titles per month which works out to about a nickel a
movie. I don't know how you can beat that pricing.
If you check out the Exxxtasy site (http://www.xtc-com.com) you'll
find that this month they are running movies ranging from Dog
Walker to Seymore Butts and Max Steiner. Sure, not all there movies
are highly rated but then neither are the ones playing on HBO. The
point is, if you're into porn, it's sure nice to have it available.
And even more so if you live in a small community like I do. With
the rapid growth of the DBS dish's, I think it is only a matter of
time before this programming is available to just about everyone
who cares to purchase the smaller dish - except of course, those
states (MS, AL, NC, OK, UT and TN) that prohibit this type of
prgramming.
Finally then, it is sometimes very difficult to obtain listing of
movies and times of play for many of these channels because (a)
many satellite magazines will not list this type of material and/or
(b) because some of the hardcore adult channels just don't give a
damm. I've found the best sourse of adult programming information
is a monthly guide called (Satellite Entertainment Guide) which has
an entire section devoted to adult programming complete with grids
and times. Should be available at any newstand.
