- Planned to be shot in TechniColor, but made in black and white.
- The fur coat running gag was based on the real-life ploy of talent agent
'Doc Shurr' (qv).
- The vocals for 'Carmen D'Antonio' (qv) were dubbed by 'Lois Hodnett' (qv).
