The traditional treatment for psychogenic Erectile Dysfunction is talk
or behavioral therapy, or a combination of the two. Some doctors are
now treating psychogenic ED as if it were organic in nature, hoping
that if a man can successfully achieve and maintain an erection a few
times, it may give him the confidence to overcome
psychologically-caused impotence. In fact, Viagra (an oral medication
for Erectile Dysfunction) seems to have a better chance of working in
cases of psychogenic ED.
