I have owned the BT3000 for about 6 month. I THINK IT'S A GREAT SAW. It's easy
to tune. It almost perfect right out of the box. The sliding miter table replaces
a radial arm saw in most cases. The fence is accurate. Since there is no miter
slot you can not use standard accessories, but I no problem making jigs etc.
to handle what I need. ie: a feather board can be mounted to the fence.
Some people I hear position the sliding miter table so it leaves a space
between the miter table & the fix table that is the width of a miter slot
and use this for a miter slot. I have not used this method yet. I also
have the router accessory kit. With the router mounted it also makes a
great router table. I suggest that you also buy the miter/fence extension. It
make handling long boards easy. For the price I do not think you can go wrong
