19 Japanese resaw bandsaws

I'm seriously thinking about buying a Japanese resaw bandsaw as my
primary bandsaw. These bandsaws come with huge blades (about 3") and
are designed for the resawing of wood. I believe that they will work fine
for resawing, but I question how well they'll work with a normal sized
blade. Has anyone had any experience with these machines? Any
comments?
