Shell/CGI perl script to Submit the URLs to the favorite search engines.

Currently available: altavista, hotbot, lycos, excite, infoseek, webcrawler.

If you use any other submission link please send them to me so I will add them to the list!

How it works: You call the cgi and it returns a form where you enter the URL you want to submit and Email (Since some engines require that), The you press Submit and CGI will submit it to all listed engines.

Notes:

• My script reports only success of each submission to each engine or failure, so producing no noise!
• If you server buffers the output even in $|=1; mode you will have to wait till all the submissions will be finished and only then you will get the report. Don't press reload! It can take a minute or so... (if you run it as CGI)

You need Perl5, CGI and LWP modules to make it work (get them from CPAN). See my FAQ's section which explains how do you install the modules , even if you aren't a root on your machine.
