Our Gifts
Our gifts are reflected all around,
in unbroken beauty that's abound.
The sea, the sky, the mountains and trees,
offer peacefulness with simple ease.
If we look outward at paradise,
deep serenity flows with the tide.
A hushed silence permeates the air,
as waves lap together in sets or pairs.
Our gifts exist to inspire us,
they live for a purpose without fuss.
They nourish and feed us with such care,
and help us refocus what we share.
Our gifts give us reasons to be strong,
to teach us skills and know right from wrong.
They restore balance back to our source,
helping us on our personal course.
Our gifts stimulate latent talents,
that tune us in to inner balance.
To help develop what we know,
and speed the progress as we grow.
As we look around at breathtaking sights,
appreciate and express sheer delight.
Revel in this experience now,
the gifts that we see will show us how.
