Who is the voice at the beginning of the show?
None other than veteran NBC announcer Don Pardo.
Didn't somebody else announce in the early 80's?
Yes. Mel Brandt announced the 1981-1982 season with
the exception of 5 and 12 Dec 1981 which were done by
Bill Hanrahan.
