If using the Orchid SoundDrive 16 card, select the external MIDI option to hear the Wavebooster’s wavetable synthesis when playing MIDI files, or select the FM synthesis to hear the FM synthesis on the SoundDrive. The SoundWave 32+ SCSI connects as a line in device and the on board synthesizer may be used simultaneously with the Wavebooster’s synthesizer. Using the Wavebooster and Soundwave 32+ SCSI control panels, MIDI data may be put through 16 channels to produce 56 simultaneous notes.
