Jumper Setting
==============
The following jumpers are accessible to the user
SCSI ID setting jumper J6 Pin 1 6
SCSI bus parity jumper JP2 Pin 3 4
Terminator power on/off JP3 Pin 1 4
MOTOR START/STOP setting jumper JP2 Pin 1 2
NOTE
The DK324C jumpers other than listed above are installed by the
manufacturer and must not be removed or replaced by the user.
Never remove any of the "BLACK" factory set jumpers. These jumpers
are unique to each drives. All jumpers should be set with power off.
NOTE
By using an extension cable from J6 connector, SCSI ID setting and
LED are externally available.
NOTE
The terminator (TM114) of the DK324C other than the last drive of
SCSI Daisy Chain MUST be removed.

NOTE
Terminator power source is supplied to the terminator resistor module
from the host that pulls up the SCSI interface signals in the drive
controller so that the SCSI bus lines will not be pulled down when
DK324C power is turned down.
JP2 MOTOR START/STOP Option jumper
----------------------------------
Pins 3 4 CLOSED The MOTOR START/SOP Option is not selected.
The spindle motor is started when the DK324C
power is turned on.
NOTE
When MOTOR START/STOP option is not used, the
controller does not respond to the host for
about 20 sec from Power turn-on to Drive Ready.
Pins 3 4 OPEN The MOTOR START/STOP option is selected. The
spindle motor can be started or stopped by using
SCSI command.
When the MOTOR START/STOP option is selected, the drive enters the
motor stop state when its power is turned on.
Use the Start/Stop Unit (1B) command to start or stop the drive.
