I have the Rockwell (now made by Porter Cable) and prefer it to
the Makita. The makita is designed so that you hold it by the
top, while the P-C is designed to be held by the throat. For
me, it works better, and feels better. I know that you can
get parts for the P-C, and assume you can get parts for the
Makita.
