I would like to replace the wood top & fence on my Craftman
radial arm saw. What would be my best choice of wood? The
present top is some type of hardwood but I've noticed the
newer saws have particle board tops. What (if any) are the
advantages of a hardwood vs particle board or plywood?
I would also appreciate any suggestions on squaring the saw
blade to the table surface. It seems tha saw needs constant
adjustment to maintain squareness of cut.
