I built a router table jointer like the one described. I used a friend's
jointer to joint the fence the entire length, then a second pass for only
the infeed side. I have since obtained a real jointer, but like using
this router/jointer for plywood or particle board. It also works well
for masonite. I once (only once!) made the mistake of jointing a piece
of masonite on my jointer. This put a knick in the blades that I will be
reminded of every time I use that section of the knives. (I haven't got
around to shifting a knife yet).
