The another difference between the two joiners is that the 34-154 also
has adjustable infeed and out feed tables.

I don't have the 34-154, yet I have a 20 year old 4" delta joiner with
this feature. It has been real convinient to be able to set the blades
and then adjust the outfeed table to the blade height, rather than
visa versa.
