27 Bandsaws, Any Recommendations?

Please pardon me if this question has been asked/answered before. I've
been shopping for a home project/hobbiest bandsaw lately and I'm looking
for suggestions (flames) on any of the popular 14" models available. As
close as I can figure so far there is the Delta 14" (1/2 or 3/4 hp) and
several imported copies of the Delta. I'd like to add a bandsaw to my
somewhat modest shop without spending a fortune. My original budget was
set at about $400 but could increase if justified. I don't intend on
doing a lot of resawing but the height extension and horsepower options
are of interest.
